PLAINN: Standard Terms and Conditions (T&C)
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the PLAINN Property Management System (the "Service").
1. Acceptance of Terms
By subscribing to or using the PLAINN Service, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
2. Service Use and Accounts
- License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Service solely for your hotel's internal operations.
- Your Responsibilities: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account login information (passwords) and for all activity that occurs under your accounts.
- Prohibited Use: You must not use the Service for any illegal or harmful activities, or to interfere with the integrity or performance of the Service.
3. Payment and Subscriptions
- Billing: All fees for the Service are billed in advance based on your chosen subscription plan (monthly or annually).
- Auto-Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of the term unless you cancel it before the renewal date.
- Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation is effective at the end of your current paid billing cycle. We do not provide refunds for any partial periods of service remaining after cancellation.
4. Data Ownership
- Your Data: You retain all ownership rights to the data you input into the PLAINN Service (reservations, guest details, financial records). We will only use your data to provide and improve the Service.
- Data Security: We commit to maintaining commercially reasonable security measures to protect your data.
5. Limitation of Liability
- The Service is provided "as is." While we strive for 100% uptime, we do not guarantee that the Service will be completely error-free or uninterrupted.
- Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will not exceed the total fees you paid to us during the three (3) months preceding the claim.
6. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
